This sheet is built around a format that gives everyone a fighting chance — two teams per entry, paired by ranking so that nobody draws two heavyweights and nobody gets stuck with two sides who are essentially there to make up the numbers. Full detail on how the format works and the points system is over at our sweepstake guide, but the short version is: it is a more competitive twist on the classic office sweep that tends to keep the leaderboard interesting deep into the tournament.
Because let's be honest, in a 48-team World Cup, the odds of the traditional format producing a dud entry are significant. With this one, hopefully we avoid the crushing moment of someone unfolding their slip to reveal the tournament's Cool Runnings team and immediately losing interest until next time!

Print, cut along the lines, fold them up and you are ready to draw.

Alternatively, you can list everyones names into your AI llm of choice and ask it to assign everyone a pairing. But it doesn't quite carry the same nostalgia and charm; plus everyone knows the sweepstake organiser basically gets an afternoon off work cutting out and having a wander about. We certainly don't want to lose that!
