About Image Licences
Across MyTourneyTime, images may come from a mix of open and reusable sources, most commonly Wikimedia Commons and other libraries that make sharing possible through public-domain tools and Creative Commons licences.
On article pages, image credits are usually shown directly beneath the image to keep the reading experience clean and to avoid adding extra publishing steps to every article. Where a licence link is not included inline, this page provides a simple guide to the licence types most likely to appear across the site.
CC BY
Attribution licences allow reuse, including commercial use and adaptation, provided the creator is credited, the licence is linked, and changes are indicated where required.
CC BY-SA
Attribution-ShareAlike licences work similarly, but adapted versions must also be shared under the same licence terms.
CC0
CC0 is a public-domain dedication tool intended to let creators waive rights as fully as possible, making reuse very flexible.
Public Domain Mark
The Public Domain Mark is used for material believed to be free of known copyright restrictions.
Open image licensing is one of the best things about the web. It gives independent creators, publishers and small projects the chance to build something useful and visually strong without everything being locked behind large budgets or closed systems.
More people sharing work openly — with clear attribution and sensible licence terms — helps keep the web creative, accessible and democratic. MyTourneyTime benefits from that generosity, and this page exists to give proper credit back wherever possible.
